In its post, the business alleged that several essential items—including commercial ovens, refrigerators, and furniture—had been wrongfully stolen from the site.
It also claimed the building’s interior had sustained damage, though no further details were provided.
The owners of Tony’s Donut House stated they would be re-evaluating plans for the location moving forward, citing ongoing discrepancies that made it impossible to continue operating at the Baldwin Park site.
Tony’s Donut House first opened in 2015, transforming a former KFC into a local donut shop.
Known for its classic pastries, donuts, and coffee, the shop operated daily from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., catering to both early risers and evening customers.
By Tuesday, the business appeared fully shut down.
Large wooden boards had been installed over the doors and windows, and the exterior signage had either been covered or removed.
