Shell casings were recovered after shots were fired outside a Baldwin Park 7-Eleven on Sunday.
At approximately 5:15 p.m., the Baldwin Park Police Department received 9-1-1 calls reporting shots fired near the convenience store located in the 12900 Block of Bess Avenue.
Baldwin Park Police Department Officers arrived and found spent casings near the front of the store.
According to the Department, at least five rounds were fired during the shooting.
No injuries were reported at the scene of the 7-Eleven, and as of Monday, local hospitals had not received any walk-in gunshot victims connected to the shooting.
Baldwin Park Police Department told Baldwin Park News that the investigation remains active and ongoing.
No suspect description was available, the Baldwin Park Police Department told Baldwin Park News.
Sunday’s shooting occurred approximately 331 feet from the site of another shooting incident reported approximately two weeks ago.
During the shooting on November 23, 2025—14 days ago—juveniles were reportedly involved and fled from a nearby pedestrian bridge after shots were fired at night.
Baldwin Park Police Department Officers searched the bridge, adjacent walkways, and surrounding areas.
Ultimately recovering multiple casings at the location callers identified as the source of the shooting.
