Baldwin Park Unified School District’s 2025 District Showcase brought together families, students, and community members earlier this month for an afternoon of celebration, creativity, and connection at Baldwin Park High School.
Its event welcomed more than 1,000 attendees on April 12, 2025, and marked the exciting return of the district’s signature showcase, which highlighted student achievement and the district’s forward momentum.
All Baldwin Park Unified School District’s schools participated, with student performances and visual arts displays taking center stage across the campus.
“This event is about more than just showcasing student talent—it’s about showing our community the direction we’re moving in,” Superintendent Dr. Froilan N. Mendoza said. “It’s important that we take moments like this to recognize the hard work and success of our students, staff and families.”
Guests enjoyed a wide range of performances, including band, choir, dance, cultural showcases, and cheer routines.
Another standout feature was the Art Walk Gallery, a curated exhibit of striking student artwork from schools throughout the district.
Baldwin Park Unified School District’s showcase also highlighted innovative programs such as esports, drones, and robotics, reflecting Baldwin Park Unified School District’s commitment to future-ready learning.
A special sports appreciation ceremony honored league champion athletes from Baldwin Park High School and Sierra Vista High School, celebrating their achievements on and off the field.
Interactive booths lined the campus, offering families opportunities to meet principals, teachers, and student leaders and to learn about the diverse academic and extracurricular programs available districtwide.
More than 32 community partners—including the City of Baldwin Park, the Baldwin Park Police Department, Valley County Water District, local health and wellness organizations, and Think Together—hosted booths to engage with families and students.
Food trucks provided a variety of dining options, while the lively “Fun Zone” featured lawn games, face painting, and hands-on activities.
Culinary arts students handed out delicious samples, Baldwin Park Adult and Community Education offered free manicures, and attendees enjoyed festive treats like popcorn, fresh fruit, and churros, adding to the vibrant atmosphere.
Baldwin Park Unified School District’s ceremony opened with remarks from Superintendent Mendoza, followed by the Baldwin Park Unified Board of Education and representatives from the offices of Senator Susan Rubio and Assemblymember Blanca E. Rubio, who presented awards to distinguished student-athletes and coaches.

La Exhibición del Distrito Escolar Unificado de Baldwin Park 2025 reunió a familias, estudiantes y miembros de la comunidad a principios de este mes para una tarde de celebración, creatividad y conexión en Baldwin Park High School.

“Este evento es más que solo mostrar el talento de los estudiantes, se trata de mostrarle a nuestra comunidad la dirección en la que nos estamos moviendo”, dijo el Superintendente Dr. Froilan N. Mendoza. “Es importante que nos tomemos momentos como este para reconocer el arduo trabajo y el éxito de nuestros estudiantes, personal y familias.”
Los invitados disfrutaron de una amplia gama de actuaciones, que incluyeron banda, coro, baile, exhibiciones culturales y rutinas de porristas.

Una ceremonia especial de apreciación deportiva honró a los atletas campeones de la liga de Baldwin Park High School y Sierra Vista High School, celebrando sus logros dentro y fuera del campo.
Puestos interactivos se alinearon en el campus, ofreciendo a las familias oportunidades para conocer a directores, maestros y líderes estudiantiles y para conocer los diversos programas académicos y extracurriculares disponibles en todo el distrito.
Más de 32 socios comunitarios, incluida la Ciudad de Baldwin Park, el Departamento de Policía de Baldwin Park, el Distrito de Agua del Condado de Valley, organizaciones locales de salud y bienestar y Think Together, organizaron puestos para interactuar con familias y estudiantes.
