Shooting wounded one person Tuesday evening in the parking lot of a Baldwin Park apartment complex.
At approximately 7:22 p.m., officers with the Baldwin Park Police Department were dispatched to an apartment complex following reports of shots fired and a man lying on the ground in the 3900 Block of Puente Avenue, Baldwin Park Police told Baldwin Park News.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers conducted a search of the apartment complex and located a male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, according to the Baldwin Park Police Department.
Officers immediately rendered life-saving aid at the scene while awaiting the arrival of Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel.
Paramedics with the Los Angeles County Fire Department treated the victim for multiple gunshot wounds before transporting him to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
According to the Baldwin Park Police Department, the victim was last listed in stable condition.
Photographs obtained by Baldwin Park News—provided on the condition of anonymity—show the shooting occurred toward the apartment complex’s parking lot.
Officers were seen marking evidence and documenting the scene over several hours following the shooting.
Yellow evidence markers were placed throughout the area, and Officers documented bloodstains, items of clothing, and bullet impacts nearby and on a vehicle and window.
Images obtained by Baldwin Park News have been slightly blurred due to the nature of the scene and out of consideration for viewers.
