Four individuals were arrested last month in connection with a series of attempted vehicle thefts that had occurred in Baldwin Park.
Its arrests followed a traffic stop in the early hours of March 19, 2025.
At approximately 1:06 a.m., Baldwin Park Police Department officers initiated a traffic stop on a Tesla near the intersection of Baldwin Park Boulevard and Merced Avenue.
During the investigation, officers discovered a range of tools commonly associated with vehicle theft operations.
Among the items recovered were electronic devices, keys, and equipment believed to have been used in the vehicle theft attempts.
All four suspects were taken into custody without incident at the scene.
Baldwin Park Police Department commended the swift actions of the night shift officers, highlighting that their prompt response may have prevented additional thefts from occurring.
