Driver was transported to a hospital Friday night after crashing into the drive-thru of a Taco Bell in Baldwin Park.
Baldwin Park Police Department and Los Angeles County Fire Department responded at approximately 8:44 p.m. to reports of a collision involving a structure at the fast-food restaurant, located near the intersection of Baldwin Park Boulevard and Tracy Street.
As first responders arrived, they found a vehicle that had slammed into the drive-thru lane of the fast-food restaurant.
According to the Baldwin Park Police Department, the driver suffered a sudden medical emergency, possibly a stroke, moments before the crash.
Life-saving measures were performed at the scene before the driver was transported to a hospital, the Baldwin Park Police Department told Baldwin Park News.
No other people were hurt in the incident.
No employees or customers inside the Taco Bell were injured.
