Bomb Threat to Baldwin Park Sierra Vista High School prompted a lockdown Monday afternoon.
Baldwin Park Police Department Communication Center received a call reporting a bomb threat at approximately 12:00 p.m. at the school, the Baldwin Park Police Department told Baldwin Park News.
Baldwin Park Police Department responded to the school, located in the 3600 Block of Frazier Street, and after a thorough investigation, they deemed the reported bomb threat non-credible.
According to the Baldwin Park Police Department, the bomb threat was made from outside the school.
Similar threats were also made to neighboring schools in different communities, according to the Baldwin Park Police Department.
Lockdowns were imposed on nearby institutions near Sierra Vista High School.
Including Sierra Vista Middle School, the Early Childhood Center, and Rachel Holliday Children, according to a message issued by the Baldwin Park Unified School District.
The lockdowns were lifted at approximately 1:15 p.m., allowing the schools to resume their normal activities.
No injuries were reported, according to the Baldwin Park Police Department.
