Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner Identified a victim who was pronounced deceased in a Fatal Baldwin Park Crash that occurred earlier this month.
Christopher Barraza Michel, 13 was identified as the victim by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner.
Michel sustained blunt trauma, according to records of the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner.
On Monday, March 6, 2023, at approximately 2:43 p.m., Baldwin Park Police and the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to Ramona Boulevard and Kenmore Avenue to a reported traffic collision in Baldwin Park.
Officers arrived and located outside the vehicle a 26-year-old male, bleeding from his face and left leg, according to the Baldwin Park Police Department.
Officers were informed by the driver that his brother was in the rear seat of the vehicle. According to the Baldwin Park Police Department, when authorities checked the rear seat, they discovered his sibling, a juvenile.
According to the Baldwin Park Police Department, the victim was unresponsive, officers attempted life-saving measures; once the Fire Department arrived, they continued, but the victim was declared deceased at the scene.
Both the Driver and the juvenile victim were from the City of El Monte, according to the Baldwin Park Police Department.
