A Female was shot in the head and is listed in stable condition after a shooting Wednesday morning in Baldwin Park.
At approximately 2:20 am, officers from the Baldwin Park Police Department responded to investigate reports of a shooting near the area of Puente Avenue and Merced Avenue in the City of Baldwin Park.
Upon the arrival, officers located a female who had sustained a gunshot wound to her head, according to the Baldwin Park Police Department.
The victim was treated at the scene by the Los Angeles County Fire Department and transported to a local hospital, where she is listed in stable condition.
The suspects fled the scene before the officers’ arrival. No further information is available at this time as the investigation is ongoing.
