On Saturday, October 17, 2020, a victim was carjacked at a Motel, in the City of Baldwin Park. The incident took place at approximately 10:25 pm, at the Grand Park Inn located near the 13900 Block of Francisquito Avenue. The family of the victim believes the incident was part of a setup before the incident happened.
The suspect in the carjacking was wearing a black hat, red bandana on his face, a black sweatshirt and khaki pants, with white shoes.
In the severance video obtain the suspect walks up to the vehicle, talks to the victim, opens the vehicle door, and gets inside. The victim steps out of the vehicle, on return the victim allegedly pointed a gun at him, the victim runs from the vehicle. The suspect gets onto the driver seat backs out and takes the vehicle with the passenger door still partially open, and is last seen traveling eastbound on Dalewood Street.
The victim left his medication in the vehicle. The victim is now at a hospital, family members told Baldwin Park News.
The vehicle was described as a 2006 Mercedes-Benz S430, with the license plate 8KBY318, a police report was made to the Baldwin Park Police Department, anyone with any information of the vehicle or suspect is encouraged to contact the Baldwin Park Police Department.

El sospechoso se sube al asiento del conductor hacia atrás y toma el vehículo con la puerta del pasajero todavía parcialmente abierta, y es visto por última vez viajando hacia el este en Dalewood Street.
La víctima dejó su medicamento en el vehículo. La víctima está ahora en un hospital, miembros de la familia dijeron Baldwin Park News.
