Two individuals were transported to hospitals following a Collision involving a flatbed semi-truck in the City of Baldwin Park Monday.
Emergency Calls were received reporting a three-vehicle collision near the intersection of Garvey Avenue and Francisquito Avenue at approximately 4:05 p.m.
Officers from the Baldwin Park Police Department and personnel from Station 29 of the Los Angeles County Fire Department were dispatched to the intersection.
Upon arrival, officers located a flatbed semi-truck that was part of the collision, along with a vehicle that had rear-ended the truck from the side, and subsequently impacted another vehicle.
According to the Baldwin Park Police Department, one individual was transported to LAC+USC Medical Center, while another was taken to Kaiser Permanente Baldwin Park Medical Center.
Both individuals complained of chest pain, the Baldwin Park Police Department told Baldwin Park News.
The cause of the Collision was under investigation.

Dos personas fueron transportadas a hospitales luego de una colisión que involucró a un camión semirremolque de plataforma en la ciudad de Baldwin Park el lunes.
Se recibieron llamadas de emergencia informando de una colisión de tres vehículos cerca de la intersección de la Avenida Garvey y la Avenida Francisquito aproximadamente a las 4:05 p.m.
Oficiales del Departamento de Policía de Baldwin Park y personal de la Estación 29 del Departamento de Bomberos del Condado de Los Ángeles fueron enviados a la intersección.
Al llegar, los oficiales ubicaron un semirremolque de plataforma que era parte de la colisión, junto con un vehículo que había chocado por detrás con el camión por un costado y posteriormente impactó a otro vehículo.
Según el Departamento de Policía de Baldwin Park, una persona fue transportada al Centro Médico LAC+USC, mientras que otra fue llevada al Centro Médico Kaiser Permanente Baldwin Park.
