Three were arrested in connection with a shooting that occurred in Baldwin Park last month.
On August 19, 2026, the Baldwin Park Police Department responded to a report of shots fired in the 4600 Block of Laurens Avenue.
As the investigation continued, Baldwin Park Police Department detectives identified several suspects believed to be documented gang members or associates who may have been connected to the shooting, as well as other crimes reported in Baldwin Park.
Baldwin Park Police Department detectives subsequently obtained a search warrant for a residence in Baldwin Park.
In the early morning hours of August 26, 2026, the Baldwin Park Police Department, assisted by the East San Gabriel Valley SWAT Team, executed the search warrant.
During the search, Baldwin Park Police Department Officers recovered a handgun and additional evidence believed to be connected to the shooting and other ongoing investigations.
Investigators also recovered a red Hyundai sedan with multiple bullet holes, which was taken into evidence, according to the Baldwin Park Police Department.
Investigators believe the vehicle may have been used in the shooting and other crimes under investigation.
