Three suspects were arrested in connection to an attempted catalytic converter theft, in the City of Baldwin Park. On Monday, February 1, 2021, at approximately 5:44 am, officers responded to the 14100 Block of Chilcot Avenue, in the City of Baldwin Park regarding an in-progress theft of a catalytic converter.
On further investigation led by the Baldwin Park Police Department, Officers arrested two male adults and a female adult.
Officers located burglary tools on the suspects and their vehicle. A search of the suspect’s vehicle resulted in the recovery of a catalytic converter and with the assistance of the Baldwin Park Detective Bureau, they were able to locate the owner in San Dimas.
The suspects were identified as Ramon Ibarra age 38, of the City of Santa Ana. Luis Partida age 29, of the City of Baldwin Park, and Estephannie Zamarripa age 25, of the City of Victorville.
They were charged with grand theft, conspiracy to commit a crime, and possession of burglary tools.

Tres sospechosos fueron arrestados en relación con un intento de robo del convertidor catalítico, en la ciudad de Baldwin Park. El lunes 1 de febrero de 2021, aproximadamente a las 5:44 am, los oficiales respondieron al bloque 14100 de Chilcot Avenue, en la ciudad de Baldwin Park, con respecto a un robo en curso de un convertidor catalítico.
En una investigación adicional dirigida por el Departamento de Policía de Baldwin Park, Los oficiales arrestaron a dos hombres adultos y una mujer adulta.
Los oficiales localizaron herramientas de robo en los sospechosos y su vehículo. Una búsqueda del vehículo del sospechoso resultó en la recuperación de un convertidor catalítico y con la ayuda de la Oficina de Detectives de Baldwin Park, pudieron localizar al propietario en San Dimas.
