Hit-and-run crash in Baldwin Park was captured on surveillance footage Sunday night, showing a white truck crashing into a parked vehicle before speeding away, leaving behind significant damage.
According to the Baldwin Park Police Department, the crash occurred at approximately 9:18 p.m. near the intersection of Stewart Avenue and Anada Street.
In surveillance footage obtained by Baldwin Park News, a white truck loaded with items speeds through a residential neighborhood area of Baldwin Park.
It’s driver crashes into the stationary vehicle with such force that it pushes the vehicle several feet from its original position, leaving the vehicle damaged.
Instead of stopping to assess the damage or pull over, the driver of the white truck can be seen fleeing the scene without hesitation, disappearing.
At the time of the crash, the vehicle was unoccupied; no injuries were reported.
Upon Baldwin Park Police Department officers arriving at the scene shortly after receiving reports, officers found the wrecked vehicle but no other vehicles or individuals in the vicinity.
Baldwin Park Police Department quickly initiated an investigation, canvassing the area for any surveillance footage that might lead to the identification of the suspect and could provide clues to the identity of the driver.
Despite their efforts, the Baldwin Park Police Department had no leads or evidence that could help identify the suspect.
