Homicide investigators with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department are continuing their investigation into the fatal stabbing of an adult female stabbed Wednesday in the City of Baldwin Park.
On Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at approximately 8:00 p.m., Baldwin Park Police Department Officers responded to a stabbing call in the 13600 Block of Palm Avenue in Baldwin Park.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, officers arrived and located the victim with stab wounds to the upper torso.
Los Angeles County Fire Department Paramedics responded and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The victim’s adult son was detained and later arrested during the investigation, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no additional information available at this time.
As of Thursday afternoon, the victim has not been formally identified, pending notification of next of kin by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner.
