On Thursday morning at approximately 1:40 am the Baldwin Park Police Department and the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the 1800 block of Puente Avenue in the City of Baldwin Park, on the arrival of first responders an adult female pedestrian involved in a traffic collision was located on the roadway, the victim succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
Video from the scene by a Baldwin Park News Member showed several items scattered in the street. The pedestrian has not been identified as of this morning.
The Baldwin Park Police Department announced, Puente Avenue between Francisquito Avenue and Walnut Creek Parkway would be temporarily closed in both directions until further notice.
Foothill Transit Line 274 would be doing a detour around the police activity until about 10:00 am. This morning and the stops at Puente and Dalewood would be closed.
