One person was arrested Friday afternoon after making threats toward another individual before fleeing to Morgan Park in Baldwin Park.
At approximately 1:59 p.m. Friday, the Baldwin Park Police Department’s Dispatch Communications Center received a report of threats made in the area of the 4100 block of Main Avenue in Baldwin Park.
According to the Baldwin Park Police Department, the victim reported being approached by two male individuals.
During the encounter, one of the suspects brandished a knife or sharp object, the Baldwin Park Police Department told Baldwin Park News.

As officers attempted to detain the individuals, one of the suspects entered the restrooms and briefly barricaded himself inside while refusing officers’ commands to surrender.

No members of the community were injured during the incident.
Its suspect was later booked on two charges including criminal threats and brandishing a weapon other than a handgun.
