An adult male suspect was reported to have followed a female juvenile in Baldwin Park Wednesday, according to the Baldwin Park Police Department.
The incident occurred at approximately 2:45 p.m. when the female juvenile was on her way home from school.
Upon leaving school, the female juvenile made a stop at Baldwin Park Linda’s Burgers, situated at Olive Street and Main Avenue to purchase some food.
It was there that she noticed a male adult suspect, aged in his mid to late thirties, who appeared to be repeatedly observing her, according to the Baldwin Park Police Department.
Shortly after leaving the restaurant on foot, the female juvenile realized that the same male adult suspect was following her in a four-door silver car, according to the Baldwin Park Police Department.
He then proceeded to exit his vehicle and inquire about her day, name, age, and place of residence.
Despite the minor’s attempts to continue walking, the male adult suspect persisted by getting back into his car, driving past her, and waiting for her further ahead, according to the Baldwin Park Police Department.
At this point, the female juvenile became alarmed and contacted a family member via a phone.
Upon seeing her make the call, the male adult suspect quickly fled the scene at a high speed, heading East on Olive Street and then South on Phelan Avenue, according to the Baldwin Park Police Department.
The suspect is described as a 35 to 40-year-old male with a light complexion and, a slender build, wearing a black hat, sunglasses, shirt, and black pants.
He was driving a gray or silver four-door vehicle, according to the Baldwin Park Police Department.
