At approximately 4:26 p.m. Monday, September 28, 2026, Baldwin Park Police Department officers and Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded to the area of Syracuse Avenue and Finchley Street following initial reports of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian.
As officers and firefighters arrived at the scene, they located a juvenile suffering from a stab wound, according to the Baldwin Park Police Department.
Its victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment to the upper torso, the Baldwin Park Police Department told Baldwin Park News.
As of Tuesday morning, the juvenile victim remained hospitalized in stable condition, according to the Baldwin Park Police Department.
