An Hours-long standoff in Baldwin Park came to an end on Tuesday Afternoon with one person in custody.
Baldwin Park Police Department responded to a report of a Domestic Violence Incident at approximately 10:55 a.m., in the area of Waco Street and Athol Street, according to the Baldwin Park Police Department.
Upon arrival, Officers found all individuals inside the home. They were unable to make contact with the victim, who was reportedly being held against their will inside the home, according to the Baldwin Park Police Department.
Approximately 20 minutes into the incident, a female and her child exited the residence, according to the Baldwin Park Police Department.
Officers attempted to negotiate with the suspect, but remained uncooperative and refused to come out, the Baldwin Park Police Department told Baldwin Park News.
Officers spent time making callouts in an effort to bring the suspect out, according to the Baldwin Park Police Department.
Officers entered the residence and successfully arrested the suspect, the hours-long standoff ended at approximately 2:30 p.m., according to the Baldwin Park Police Department.
No major injuries were reported, and the suspect was arrested and booked with several crimes.
