A residential fire on Tuesday in the City of Baldwin Park, that destroyed the home of three families, were left with nothing, and are asking for donations from the community.
The Red Cross assisted them in finding a place to stay, food, and clothes for the week, but they will be on their own for the next few months.
The families had lived in the City of Baldwin Park for over ten years and lost everything in one day; they would now have to start over with clothes, food, and a house.
Shortly after 4:00 pm, on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, the Baldwin Park Police Department and the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a residential fire in the 3800 block of Downing Avenue in the City of Baldwin Park.
The Fire was called a knockdown at approximately 4:24 pm, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department. No injuries were reported, the Los Angeles County Fire Department told Baldwin Park News.
The Los Angeles County Fire Arson Investigation Division Unit is investigating the cause of the fire.
