Firefighters from the Los Angeles County Fire Department knocked down a fire that ignited within an apartment building Saturday in the City of Baldwin Park.
Baldwin Park Police Department and Firefighters responded to a reported residential fire in the 3100 Block of Vineland Avenue at approximately 5:45 p.m.
Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a working attic fire with smoke and fire visible, the Los Angeles County Fire Department told Baldwin Park News.
Shortly after arriving, firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
No injuries were reported, and the fire’s origin was under investigation.
Disaster volunteers from the American Red Cross responded on the scene to aid the victims, whose residence had been damaged by fire, the American Red Cross told Baldwin Park News.
