An Encampment Fire filled the air with black smoke on Memorial Day in the City of Baldwin Park.
The Fire was reported on the Northbound 605 Freeway, just East of the 10 Freeway shortly before 11:40 am. The Fire was under the freeway at the Walnut Creek river wash.
The smoke didn’t affect the freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol. The black smoke was coming out from both sides of the freeway. The Fire Department responded and put out the fire quickly.
In the video, you could see flames as the fire spreads & some sort of explosions happened as well, no one was injured in the Encampment Fire. The Fire Department stayed on the scene for about 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Un incendio de campamento llenó el aire de humo negro en el Día de los Caídos en la Ciudad de Baldwin Park.
El incendio fue reportado en la autopista 605 en dirección norte, justo al este de la autopista 10 poco antes de las 11:40 am. El incendio estaba debajo de la autopista en el lavado del río Walnut Creek.
El humo no afectó a la autopista, según la Patrulla de Caminos de California. El humo negro salía de ambos lados de la autopista. El Departamento de Bomberos respondió y apagó el fuego rápidamente.
En el video, se podía ver llamas como el fuego se extiende y algún tipo de explosiones ocurrió, así, nadie resultó herido en el incendio del campamento. El Departamento de Bomberos permaneció en la escena durante aproximadamente 1 hora y 40 minutos.
