The driver of a Freightliner claimed he was cut off by a dark dodge SUV, causing him to lose control of the big rig and overturned, according to the California Highway Patrol, on Thursday, January 7, 2021.
At approximately 7:00 am, the California Highway Patrol responded to a reported collision on the Eastbound 10 freeway in the City of Baldwin Park.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the Freightliner was transitioning to the Eastbound 10 freeway from the Northbound 605 freeway when the driver was cut off by a dark dodge SUV, causing him to lose control of the big rig and overturn into its side.
Fortunately, the driver was not seriously injured, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Big Rig blocked the number one, two, and three lanes of the Eastbound 10 Freeway.
A SIGALERT was issued at approximately 7:13 am, according to the California Highway Patrol.
