On December 1, the City of Baldwin Park will host its 28th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at Cesar E. Chavez Amphitheater in Morgan Park located in the 4100 Block of Baldwin Park Blvd.
Beginning at 5:00 p.m., the ceremony will kick off the holiday season with traditional holiday activities.
“This long-standing tradition marks the beginning of the holiday season in Baldwin Park,” said Mayor Emmanuel J. Estrada. “It’s important to host events like this that bring the community together in celebration.”
The ceremony will start with a special performance by the Christmas Carolers followed by performances from the Julia McNeill Carolers, Baldwin Park High School and Sierra Vista High School Choirs and Pualani’s Polynesian Dancers starting at 6:00 p.m. Santa will be available for free photos after the entertainment, just before the glittering lights of the City’s 18-foot tree return to Morgan Park.
After the tree-lighting ceremony, the City will provide free pozole, hot chocolate, and sweet bread.

La Ciudad de Baldwin Park Será Anfitriona de la 28 Ceremonia Anual de Iluminación del Árbol
El 1 de diciembre, la Ciudad de Baldwin Park organizará su 28va Ceremonia Anual de Iluminación de Árboles en el Anfiteatro Cesar E. Chávez en Morgan Park, ubicado en la cuadra 4100 de Baldwin Park Blvd.
A partir de las 5:00 p. m., la ceremonia dará inicio a la temporada navideña con actividades navideñas tradicionales.
“Esta tradición de larga data marca el comienzo de la temporada navideña en Baldwin Park”, dijo el alcalde Emmanuel J. Estrada. “Es importante organizar eventos como este que unan a la comunidad en celebración.”
La ceremonia comenzará con una actuación especial de los Villancicos Navideños seguida de actuaciones de los Villancicos de Julia McNeill, los coros de Baldwin Park High School y Sierra Vista High School y los bailarines Polinesios de Pualani a partir de las 6:00 p. m.Santa estará disponible para tomar fotos gratis después del entretenimiento, justo antes de que las brillantes luces del árbol de 18 pies de la ciudad regresen a Morgan Park.
Después de la ceremonia de encendido del árbol, la Ciudad proporcionará pozole, chocolate caliente y pan dulce gratis.
