The Baldwin Park Police Department is investigating a shooting early Monday morning.
The shooting happened at approximately 12:00 am, one victim was transported to a trauma center according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
A Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Officer was at the intersection when shots were fired at a vehicle.
A suspect was taken into custody.
The Baldwin Park Police Department closed multiple streets closed off for an investigation.
The streets that were affected were La Rica Avenue, Clark Street & Baldwin Park Blvd.
Other streets affected as well were Baldwin Park Blvd and Los Angeles Street.
