The Baldwin Park Unified School District and the City of Baldwin Park will be hosting its First Annual Mental Health Awareness event this Saturday.
The event is to raise mental health awareness, the event will start at the Baldwin Park City Hall at 14403 East Pacific Avenue and finish at the Baldwin Park Unified School District Performing Arts Center at 4640 Maine Avenue in the City of Baldwin Park.
The event will include a one-mile run, walk or bike to bring mental health awareness.
The event will begin with a ceremony at 8:30 am, followed by the first steps at 9:00 am, beginning at the Baldwin Park City Hall.
Various businesses and supporting organizations will be at the finish line with informational booths, food, and more, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Baldwin Parks Mayor Emanuel Estrada announced “Looking forward to our very first mental health awareness fair and walk! Our starting line will be at city hall, and we will walk/run or bike to BPUSD Performing arts center. Please mark this on your calendar and join us!”

El Distrito Escolar Unificado de Baldwin Park y la Ciudad de Baldwin Park organizarán su Primer Evento Anual de Concientización sobre Salud Mental este sábado.
El evento es para aumentar la conciencia de salud mental, el evento comenzará en el Ayuntamiento de Baldwin Park en 14403 East Pacific Avenue y terminará en el Centro de Artes Escénicas del Distrito Escolar Unificado de Baldwin Park en 4640 Maine Avenue en la ciudad de Baldwin Park.
El evento incluirá una carrera de una milla, una caminata o una bicicleta para concientizar sobre la salud mental.
El evento comenzará con una ceremonia a las 8:30 am, seguida de los primeros pasos a las 9:00 am, comenzando en el Ayuntamiento de Baldwin Park.
Varias empresas y organizaciones de apoyo estarán en la línea de meta con puestos informativos, comida y más, de 10:00 am a 1:00 pm.
El alcalde de Baldwin Park, Emanuel Estrada, anunció: “¡Esperamos nuestra primera feria y caminata de concientización sobre salud mental! Nuestra línea de salida será en el ayuntamiento, y caminaremos / correremos o en bicicleta hasta el centro de artes escénicas BPUSD. Por favor, marque esto en su calendario y unirse a nosotros!”
