The City of Baldwin Park held its traditional Posada last month at Morgan Park. The event was held on Monday, December 20, 2021.
The event commenced with a mass at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, followed by a procession to the Cesar E. Chavez Amphitheater at Morgan Park.
The event started at 7:15 p.m., Candy bags, live entertainment, and piñata raffles were among the festivities. Twenty-five piñatas were raffled off.
At the Amphitheater, a church choir performed a nativity scene and sang posada songs.
Free food included tamales, bunuelos, café de olla, and traditional hot punch (ponche) during the event.
Free gifts were also distributed to children aged 12 and under at the event.

La ciudad de Baldwin Park celebró su tradicional Posada el mes pasado en Morgan Park. El evento se llevó a cabo el lunes 20 de diciembre de 2021.
