Baldwin Park Police Department’s Detective Bureau is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the owner of a bicycle.
Detectives from the Baldwin Park Police Department found a number of unclaimed items that were all thought to have been stolen, including catalytic converters, during a recent investigation.
Baldwin Park Police Department also provided useful advice on how to protect a vehicle from stolen catalytic converters thefts in the area.
One of them is to equip your catalytic converter with a theft deterrent device, mark your catalytic converter at a city-sponsored etching event (BPPD will organize one soon), reduce the sensitivity of your car’s alarm to account for vibration, and park your car in a secure place such as a Garage, well-lit area or high traffic area.
According to the Baldwin Park Police Department, the Detective Bureau has not been successful in locating the owner of the bicycle.
