Significant amount of jewelry was stolen Friday afternoon during a bold daytime burglary at a residence in Baldwin Park.
Its break-in occurred at approximately 2:00 p.m. in the 3400 Block of San Gabriel River Parkway in the City of Baldwin Park.
Three suspects entered the residence while it was unoccupied, taking advantage of the homeowner’s absence to force entry and carry out the theft.
Once inside, the suspects reportedly stole a substantial amount of jewelry before fleeing the area in broad daylight.
Officers with the Baldwin Park Police Department responded to the scene later that afternoon at approximately 3:39 p.m. after the burglary was reported.
By the time Baldwin Park Police Department officers arrived, the suspects had already left and were no longer in the area.
According to the Department, at least two of the suspects were seen wearing ski masks during the burglary, one gray and one black, while carrying out the break-in.
As of Saturday, all three suspects remained outstanding and have not been arrested, the Baldwin Park Police Department told Baldwin Park News.
