Female was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a crash Sunday morning in Baldwin Park.
At approximately 11:27 a.m., officers with the Baldwin Park Police Department and firefighters from the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to reports of a traffic collision near the intersection of Big Dalton Avenue and Clydewood Street.
As first responders arrived at the scene, they discovered a single-vehicle crash involving a white 2013 Ford Fusion driven by a female.
Its vehicle had sustained substantial damage as a result of the collision.
According to the Baldwin Park Police Department, the driver, a Baldwin Park resident, was not injured in the crash.
Its female had been traveling along Big Dalton Avenue when her vehicle struck a 2025 Subaru Outback with out-of-state license plates from Vermont that had been parked along the roadway near the intersection.
The force of the impact caused the Ford Fusion vehicle’s axle to detach during the collision, leaving the vehicle with severe damage to the front and rear and side portions of the vehicle, including the exhaust system.
Following their investigation, officers with the Baldwin Park Police Department arrested the female.
Its parked 2025 Subaru Outback also sustained minor damage to its left side as a result of the crash. No other injuries were reported.
