Juveniles fled the area after shots were fired from a Baldwin Park Pedestrian Bridge on Sunday night.
At approximately 10:23 p.m., the Baldwin Park Police Department’s Dispatch Communication Center received 9-1-1 calls reporting shots fired near Garvey Avenue and Frazier Street, in the area of the Baldwin Park Pedestrian Bridge.
According to the Baldwin Park Police Department, officers arrived and canvassed the bridge, nearby walkways, and surrounding area for evidence and potential victims.
Officers located several spent shell casings near the bridge in the same location callers identified as the source of the gunfire, the Baldwin Park Police Department told Baldwin Park News.
Following the shooting, at least two juveniles were seen running and fleeing from the area immediately after the shots were fired, according to the Baldwin Park Police Department.
No victims were found at the scene, and as of Monday morning, no local hospitals reported receiving any walk-in gunshot victims, the department told Baldwin Park News.
