Woman who had been reported missing was safely reunited with her family after California Highway Patrol officers from the Baldwin Park area found her walking along the 605 Freeway in mid-August.
On August 17, 2025, at approximately 7:06 p.m., California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers responded to a 9-1-1 call about a pedestrian walking along the interstate.
When officers arrived, they located the woman on the right shoulder of the northbound 605 Freeway, just north of Ramona Boulevard, the Baldwin Park California Highway Patrol office told Baldwin Park News.
Officers learned the woman had been reported missing two days earlier, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department had previously issued a public flyer asking the community for help in locating her after she was last seen on August 15, 2025, in the 16000 block of Montbrook Street in Valinda.
California Highway Patrol officers confirmed the woman’s identity, ensured she was safe, and then coordinated with her family to arrange a reunion.
By approximately 9:12 p.m. that evening, California Highway Patrol officers were able to safely reunite her with her family, the Baldwin Park California Highway Patrol office told Baldwin Park News.
