Driver Arrested on Suspicion of DUI Following Two-Vehicle Crash Saturday in Baldwin Park

Male in his late 20s was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a two-vehicle crash in Baldwin Park on Saturday.

Its crash occurred at approximately 5:35 p.m. near the intersection of La Rica Avenue and Baldwin Park Boulevard.

As Baldwin Park Police Department officers arrived at the scene, they discovered two vehicles with visible and significant damage. 

One driver remained at the scene and was not injured. A second driver had initially fled the scene before Baldwin Park Police Department officers arrived at the scene.

He later returned voluntarily and was also determined to be uninjured.

After Baldwin Park Police Department officers conducted a field sobriety test and a further investigation.

He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, the Baldwin Park Police Department told Baldwin Park News.

No other injuries were reported, and no passengers were involved in the incident.
