Suspect was identified as a male in his late 20s and a resident of Baldwin Park, the Baldwin Park Police Department told Baldwin Park News.
The arrest occurred four days after the fatal collision, which claimed the life of a female pedestrian.
He was booked for Felony Hit and Run, according to the Baldwin Park Police Department.

Following an extensive investigation by the Baldwin Park Police Department’s Detective Bureau in collaboration with the Patrol Bureau, both the vehicle involved and its driver were identified.
Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner identified the victim as Esther Madueno Astorga, age 68 years old.
Astorga succumbed to fatal blunt force injuries, according to the Medical Examiner’s report.
She was pronounced deceased at approximately 9:28 p.m., according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
On December 15, 2023, Baldwin Park Police Department Officers and the Los Angeles County Fire Department Personnel responded to 9-1-1 calls reporting a pedestrian involved in a traffic collision.
Near the intersection of Baldwin Park Boulevard and Olive Street at approximately 9:18 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult female with severe injuries lying on the street, according to the Baldwin Park Police Department.
Investigations revealed that the victim had been struck by a vehicle traveling southbound on Baldwin Park Boulevard, the Baldwin Park Police Department told Baldwin Park News.
Immediate medical attention was administered, but the victim was pronounced deceased.
