Baldwin Park will hold its 29th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Esther Snyder Community Center in Morgan Park located in the 4100 Block of Baldwin Park Boulevard on November 30, 2023.
Commencing at 5:30 p.m., the ceremony marks the joyful commencement of the holiday season with music, food, entertainment, and the tree-lighting.
“This long-standing tradition marks the beginning of every holiday season in Baldwin Park,” said Mayor Emmanuel J. Estrada. “It’s important to bring the community together in celebration this time of year. I look forward to seeing our local families out at Morgan Park to enjoy this fantastic event and get the holidays underway.”
The ceremony will start with a mesmerizing performance by Estrellas de Los Angeles. Following suit, the Julia McNeill Carolers, along with the choirs from Baldwin Park High School and Sierra Vista High School, will grace the occasion. Pualani’s Polynesian Dancers will add a touch of cultural vibrancy to the celebrations.
As the entertainment concludes, the glittering lights will illuminate the City’s towering 18-foot tree, lighting up Baldwin Park. Special treats await with appearances by Santa and the Grinch, who will be available for free photos.
After the tree-lighting ceremony, the City of Baldwin Park will provide complimentary pozole, hot chocolate, and sweet bread.
Community members of all ages are invited to attend the free celebration.
La Ciudad de Baldwin Park organizará la 29ª Ceremonia Anual de Iluminación de Árboles
Baldwin Park celebrará su 29a Ceremonia Anual de Iluminación de Árboles en el Centro Comunitario Esther Snyder en Morgan Park ubicado en la cuadra 4100 de Baldwin Park Boulevard el 30 de noviembre de 2023.
Comenzando a las 5:30 p.m., la ceremonia marca el alegre comienzo de la temporada navideña con música, comida, entretenimiento y encendido del árbol.
“Esta tradición de larga data marca el comienzo de cada temporada navideña en Baldwin Park”, dijo el alcalde Emmanuel J. Estrada. “Es importante unir a la comunidad en celebración en esta época del año. Espero ver a nuestras familias locales en Morgan Park para disfrutar de este fantástico evento y comenzar las fiestas.”
La ceremonia comenzará con una fascinante actuación de Estrellas de Los Ángeles. Siguiendo el ejemplo, Julia McNeill Carolers, junto con los coros de Baldwin Park High School y Sierra Vista High School, adornarán la ocasión. Los bailarines polinesios de Pualani agregarán un toque de vitalidad cultural a las celebraciones.
